For those still having problems, install the attached cab, soft reset, and see if that resolves the problem. Partial thanks go to GoodThings2Life for this. I just cab'ed up his registry key where this WAS discussed in another thread, and added another registry setting on top of his.

The space key on my virtual keyboard had completely vanished. That .cab took care of it. Thanks!

What's the "keyboard softkey" sorry? Are you talk about the soft keyboard, and the bottom row of up, down, left, and right keys? Or the shift key just above them to the far left?

Also, just to be sure, what ever it is that is not working...you've tried the same key in different programs right?

I had the same exact problem and the cab file fixed it. Thanks for the thread and the help.
