Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
When I had my TP i remember reading post after post about Zagg being no good. My stock protector just fell off so i need to get a new one. Its a toss up between Boxwave and BodyGuardsz, leaning toward teh Bodyguardz because you get two for the price of one Boxwave. Where did you guys buy these? I know Bustbuy sells Zagg but it would be nice to get it quick and skip the price of shipping.

Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
from what i have seen BodyGuardsz is just like phantom skinz. i wouldnt recommend it
oh and check the price for zagg at BB and online... BB price is kinda guy.. at the end of the day i think you will be better off buying online.. you can get an online coupon and save a little.. i got the phantom skinz ( 2 full body) for 16 bucks with the coupon |
Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
man i still stand behind my zagg. ive had it for a while now and it works great. still doesnt show any scratches but i havent dropped my phone yet *knock on wood* so it doesnt say much. i do kno from keeping it in my pocket it hasnt picked up as much dirt as the cheap screen protector i used before. i do hate that on the vzw version nothing protects around the screen only the back cover and the screen itself has a protector

The Boxwave is head & shoulders better quality than the BodyGuardz (& I've used both) BodyGuardz is great for body protection but the Boxwave is BY FAR the best screen protector you can buy (& the Brando is almost identical to the Boxwave) ~John |
Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
I don't like Zagg either. Having said that I still like the material. That is why I use Phatom Skinz http://phantomskinz.com/htctouchpro2sprint.aspx I have used just about all the different screen protectors over the years and have found these to be by far the best. You get 2 for the price of 1. I ordered just the screen protector it was $6.67 (after discount advertised on their website) that includes shipping. Ordered on a Friday and had them by Monday. There is no orange peel, doesn't scratch, not as thick as Zagg and it looks and feels like a standard screen protector. If you haven't tried them, then for the price you need to give them a try and I'm sure you will agree with me.

i tried the phantom and i didnt like it at all.... on both screen protectors i had scratches... noticed while putting them on..
the side are impossible to put on and the back is already given me problems. |
Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
So i found out the local mall up in brandon florida where myt son lives has a place in the mall that sells zag and puts them on.I was going to go there and have them do the full body anyone else have a mall put it on for you? and thoughts on how they turn out when you have them do it.

Re: Zagg Invisible Shield...sucks?
I bought mine at the mall and had them apply it for me. No air bubbles but i hate it. The screen protector is way too sticky. I cant even scroll in opera because its too sticky its making my finger skip across the screen and causing it to double tap and zoom in instead of scroll. I hate my zagg invisishield. I really wish i could just get the original one that came with my phone.
