How to remove vistahide bar from startup

Hey guys, picked up my TouchPro2 last week, awesome phone, huge upgrade from my PPC6800 @ $200 shipped.

Question for you guys, I have VistaHide starting at boot, I'd like to remove it as Ive installed a battery icon with color bar and percentages.

Any idea how to remove it without getting an "In use" error?

Thanks in advance,

-Eric

For anyone wondering how I did the color battery icon..

Re: How to remove vistahide bar from startup

delete the link to VH from your windows/startup folder, soft reset then uninstall it.

Rename the file and then delete it, that should work.

Re: How to remove vistahide bar from startup

I thought of the same thing you guys suggested.
I get the following error when I attempt...

Not sure if there is something I can do to whack the process, I tried killing it with the cleanRAM program, no dice.

Re: How to remove vistahide bar from startup

You could use Schap's task manager to kill the process and then delete the file from the startup folder.

Re: How to remove vistahide bar from startup

What about making a subfolder in Startup then dropping it in there before deletion? I can't remember which way I used to get rid of it.
