stock ROM vs customed ROM

I flashed many customed ROMs on my diamond before but the tp2 stock ROM from sprint is so smooth and stable. now I question wether it is worth it to flash a customed rom on tp2 when they are available here at ppc.

The only issue that need a fix is the tethering reg edit which does not keep the change after reset. This issue might not need ROM flashing. Other than this, I don't see any major issue that need fix from customer ROM. radio might need but only if radio is important to you.

who want to stick with your stock rom? or who want to flash?

Keep in mind performance isnt everything. I flash to get more features. The TouchFlo version for the Leo is newer than the one for the TP2, so I would like an early WinMo and TouchFLo upgrade.

yeah i'm flashing just for tf3d 2.5
tf3d 2.1 is better than the original, but it still has missing features that make it efficient and fun at the same time... 2.5 from leo looks like it's gonna rock...

Agree, new features are worth flashing ROM to some people. not everyone need these features. I like the new email feature with more real estate to read.

critical issues such as performance, battery, were last year major issues and need customed rom.

this year, I am 95% happy with my TP2. the last 5% is just bonus features, nothing critical. Flashing rom take too much time and it is buggy at first. it fixes one issue and introduce another. it took a while to get a stable customed rom.
