so the touch pro is perfection for you because it includes a flashlight and cheap dpad where the buttons feel like theyre gonna pop out at any moment (in some cases they are popping out for people)? What about the tp's cramped keyboard? that doesn't seem perfect to me...i don't think anyone even said the tp2 is perfect anyway... we just said it's as perfect as you're gonna get right now.

there's a reason the dpad is gone... htc is moving towards an all touch, bigger screened initiative. so from here on out htc's phones are less perfect because they don't have the dpad u like in the touch pro? just look at the touch2, htc hd2.. this is what our winmo phones will look like for the next year or two.

a bigger screen or a dpad with cheap buttons that seem like they're gonna pop out? i'll take the wvga screen. who needs a dpad when you can view a lot more of the screen... who needs a dpad when this is winmo 6.1 professional, not standard where the touch screen doesn't work. =D> i fail to see where the dpad plays such a huge role anymore...

btw, u can remap the hardware keys to add dpad functions while keeping the original functions too. can u add a bigger screen and comfortable keyboard to the tp? tp2 perfect? no, but it's as perfect as you're going to get as someone said.

now back to thread discussion and exil3d getting excited about defects...

No, this kid has made it very clear he "will not pay one penny" for the touch pro, and he "won't take a TP2 even if it was free".

Join other members and report all his useless posts. This guy really needs to be banned from the forum.

ha, let me clarify... he probably already has the tp2, but has to carry on the charade of bashing it because of all the crap he's done in the past. i bet he's watching a movie on that beautiful 3.6" wvga screen right now. Either that or he's looking for his glasses so he can reply to defects threads on this forum from his tp1's tiny screen (trying to convince himself not to give in to paying). someone should start a poll "did exil3d call in for the $199 discounted price immediately after hearing about it?"
