My vista home premium computer can now Host and be remotly controlled by other computers.. it works fine. but not from my TP2... all of this was in the origional post FYI.

Sooooo much easier.... IF...

1. you like logmein.
2. you want to download an aditional browser because opera doesnot support it
3. if you want to re-enter your username and password every time.
4. if you want slower responce time
5. if you are to lazy to figure out how to get a program going.

Im just giving you a hard time... i HATE log me in with a passion. ive used it before and i have even tried it from my TP2 and its just a pain... VS using RDC to just click 2 buttons and your in.

Do you require network level authentication for remote desktop, or do you allow any client to connect? The authentication is something new to the vista remote desktop settings and carried over into W7. The client for Windows XP was updated to support this as well, but it could be that the client on your phone is not capable of using this feature, hence the reason it isn't working.
