Re: Call Answering Issues

Having similar issue. I actually had just done a hard reset because of the same problem, figured because of all the apps I installed and uninstalled something goofed it up. After the hard reset I only installed a few apps but now after a few days of getting things the way I like it won't answer a call , the slider slides to answer and then things lock up. The person calling keeps ringing then gets voicemail.

I have found that if I wait a good 10+ secs after the phone starts to ring it will answer without issue.

I have been battling with it all day, disabling any installed apps, changing settings, reverted to normal windows mobile dialer (also locked up). Probably soft reset 40 times.

But ... I too was using the Advanced Config Tool. I guess I am going to hard reset again and see what happens without installing it at all.

I've had no phone answering problems since my hard reset, and I've installed pretty much everything I had been using before...with the exception of Advanced Config. So I'm confident it was that that caused my problems. Bummer is you could play around all day uninstalling stuff, but once Advanced Config is installed your problems 'aint going away without a hard reset

Re: Call Answering Issues

I think it must be a certain change made in Advanced Config because I have AC installed & mine answers just fine.

I swore I wasn't going to install AC in my TP2, but I needed it to get Pandora working so I broke down installed it. I try not to touch it & only made a few changes with it & I have no problem whatever.

It appears to have cured the problem on my phone without a hard reset or uninstalling anything and I do have Advanced Config installed so from the sounds of it that is the culprit, but this cures it. I have no idea how you figured it out but a big thanks to you for it!!

Re: Call Answering Issues

Hmmm, too bad I didn't wait I would have liked to try. I hard reset 15mins after my last post.

On the sunny side ... I have hard reset so many times in the past 2 weeks I can reload almost all my apps and configure them in 90 minutes istead of the 4 hours it took me the first day

ahhhh ... so now that you pointed out the registry key I was able to search the forum with that and see what the problem was, I must have just been choosing search terms poorly when looking for a solution before

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...469#post458469

That or I might have just been searching the TP2 threads (doink!)

This fixes it! Thank you! I've had diamontweaks installed and this cab file fixed the lagging answering slider problem.
