Telenav or Navigon on Verizon vs. VZ Navigator?

Is it possible to a top nothch Nav app other than crappy VZ Navigator?

Also, any way around paying Verizon $9.99 pER MONTH?

I would go with Garmin Mobile XT. It's $99 but it's a one time fee. I am using it on my Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 and it works great. No extra charges from Verizon and they didn't block the GPS. If you can't find what you are looking for in the pre loaded point of interests you can do a Google search and it will bring up just about anything just like it was a pre loaded point of interest, as well as find the cheapest gas near you, traffic updates, etc.

I have all 3 on my SD Card right now - TomTom, iGO8 and Garmin Mobile XT. iGO 8 is definitely the best in terms of their nice 3d interface, maps, navigation and POI database. Garmin does its job well, but, does not look as good. But, its simpler to use. TomTom is my least favorite out of the 3.

Is anyone using VZ Navigator on their VZW TP2?? It is not on mine and cannot be downloaded. If anyone has it can they upload the cab file?? Thanks.
