what does a prl update do for us?

it's the preferred roaming list --- makes sure you hit the right towers for signal --- from what I understand.

start > settings > system > update PRL

FYI this PRL update is to fix loss of roaming coverage due to roaming partner changes in the markets of Houma, LA and Pensacola, FL.

If you're not using your phone in those markets, it's not necessary to update your PRL.

if sprint finds out forget about having service with them.. from what i know they can download your PRL and see how it's ordered (don't know if this is something they actively do).. but it's something to think about.
