The CAB originated from my Touch Pro ROMs over at XDA, but I tested it on my TP2, and I could multi-select after a soft reset.

Add the following key to your registry, and then soft reset to get multi-select back.

"Disabled"=dword:1
CAB attached for simplicity.

The Reg edit worked great on my Sprint TP2, thanks!

Any way to remove this program? I don't see it in the programs list.

Run the install again, and select Yes to the message that the other version will need to be uninstalled first. Once complete, just cancel out of the installer when it tries to reinstall.

tried that but it says the previous version of Helmi FileExplorer cannot be uninstalled. i've searched for the program and all i can find is the cab file. the program itself is eluding me. when i use file explorer it is now just called "explorer".

Re: Multi-select in File Explorer?

You can do that but that is similar to the CTRL key functionality.

Re: Multi-select in File Explorer?

I haven't made any progress on it either, and neither the Gestures\Touch nor the above FileExplorer cabs work on my TP2.

Re: Multi-select in File Explorer?

For everyone that the CAB did not work: Are you on Sprint?

It seems that way, and so I wonder if Sprint has something tweaked in their ROM that is overriding the Disable key.

Re: Multi-select in File Explorer?

I know I'm anxiously waiting on a fix for this. I hate transferring 1 file at a time.
