Re: Make the bottom hardware key lights stay on longer?
Valid question... No particular reason, I just like the buttons to be lit when the screen backlight is lit - looks nice. And it's another giveaway that I don't have an iPhone.

Re: Make the bottom hardware key lights stay on longer?
i second this. was one of the first things that went through my head when i used the phone for the first time today. was staring (drooling) at the beautiful screen then realized i navigated one page too far, wanted to hit the back button, looked down only to see the lights had turned off. i thought "sure wish those were on longer..." therefore i would like to see a tweak for this as well, gotta be in the registry somewhere. probably won't get it to be a function of the backlight time, but should be able to increase it none the less.
anyone know their way around the reg, possibly give a pointer at where backlight settings might be hiding |

Re: Make the bottom hardware key lights stay on longer?
I just noticed the slideout keyboard backlight stayed on for approx. 30 sec which was nice. But I really want those bottom keys to stay on longer.

Re: Make the bottom hardware key lights stay on longer?
Any ideas or for registry hacks to do this? I like to use the hard buttons to navigate and when I use my Touch Pro in the dark, the bottom lights go out too quickly
I end up trying to feel for the correct button with my finger -- would rather see them lit. Plus, like the others have suggested, it would look very cool... |
