I need help with making my phone stop reading my emails and speaking notifications.

I have searched:
turn off notification reader, email reader and others and nothing comes up. Maybe I am an idiot, if someone can just point me in the right direction. It is really annoying for it just to start talking when I am with a customer. Thanks for any advice. Also I am still looking for the 640x480 suntrust mobile banking cab if anybody has it, I couldn't find it either, and suntrust keeps sending me a broken link. thanks.

setttings/voice command and disable it. Only thing I can think of.

Last issue, and there may not be a fix for it. It is completely unrelated to the one above, but I am looking for a way to keep Google Maps or Bing to track in the direction I am heading not always north. I hate seeing my point on the screen heading down or left or right. I just annoys me, but I am either searching for the wrong thing, or there is no way to fix this. Sorry for bumping this, but I didn't want to start another thread just for this, I didn't feel it was that big of a deal, just annoying IMO.
