Changing brightness in TP2

I have a TP2 from Verizon, and unlike my PPC6800.. there is no option to change the brightness of the screen.
I need to set it low during the night and set it high during the day.. is there a way? Even registry editing perhaps?

go to settings...all settings...system...see if you have an icon labeled power in there you should be able to change the brightness.

Under the brightness settings turn off auto adjust then you will be able to change it.
