As stated before the method you use works fine IF your not running TF3D... That is a hack for changing the softkeys on the Windows today screen. It does nothing for the softkeys in TF3D....

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. We are talking about changing the button on touch flo. Your reg edit is to change the Microsoft today screen NOT Touch Flo.
