OK, here is Scott's cab for it but I installed it with the weather database cab together and the SMS didnt work, guess its only for Sprint. The weather database did work though and its great. Every city imaginable I believe.. Here is the SMS cab if you want to try it though. I'll also post the weatherbase/sms sent cab just incase you dont have the weather database installed(he doesnt have it seperate, but its the only weather database that worked for me), its called "tweaks #1".

Is this the same as the registry hack? (want to be sure,) I did the reg hack, but don't want to miss anything!

Yeah the Sprint SMS fix sets the usual reg hack (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentM sg=1). That fix doesnt work for Verizon.... They had to sneak some crazy s*** in there you know how it is. There is a thread floating around this board titled something like "Disable Verizon SMS sent message", someone figured out a combination of reg hacks that offers a decent workaround to the annoying pop up. But you still get a notification bubble up in the taskbar for like 5 seconds.

Bad question on my part...does the reg hack to free up memory, do the same thing as the cab? thx

if you're talking about the hklm/software/htc/resproxy hack, yes it's the same

I've done both of these tweaks and gotten great results. I actually just got a brand new TP2 to replace one that had a faulty keyboard. It's weird, I somehow got my first one to boot up with 36% of the RAM used. I can only get this one to boot with 40% used. I wish I knew what other tweaks I did to get the extra 7MB of free RAM. Any ideas anyone? I am stumped at this point.

Off topic a little, but will these two cabs also work on a manila 2.5 TP ROM? I noticed manila 2.5 used a lot more memory on the TP than the original Tf3D and am wondering now if this is the main reason?
