Reprogramming the Volume Buttons

As it says in the title, does anyone know of a hack that will let me reprogram the Volume buttons to do something like scroll up and down instead of adjusting the volume?

I'm on Verizon and it does not give me the option in settings. I can only reprogram the Favorite (Star) button and Send key. I constantly keep my phone on vibrate and have no use for volume buttons, but would also just find it incredibly more useful if they were scroll buttons. Its killing me.

Did you try Rhodium KbdControl ? It can remap every keys. Maybe it can remap the volume keys as well.

edit : I confirm that it can remap the volume button. It can really remap every button actually !!
