Brand new 16gb MicroSD card cut in half due to bad design :(

Sorry for being negative, but I love my TP2, so this is constructive criticism. I had to soft reset my TP2 for something, so I took off the batter cover, reset it, and put it back on. I noticed it wasn't going back on right, so I checked, and there's the Micro SD sticking out, bent. When I touched it, it broke in half. This should not have happened for two reasons:

1) The MicroSD card should not come out. I hate load-in designs. Why not do it like the Touch Pro, where you just place it next to the battery if I remember right?

2) I shouldn't have to take the battery cover off to reset it. There should be a hole through the battery cover on the side. Yes, I can drill my own, but I shouldn't have too.

Anyway, sorry to vent, but you would be mad too, as I just got this card yesterday. Worse yet is the other half is stuck in the phone. Any tips for getting it out?
