Is it Just Me Or is The Touch Pro 2 Starting to Remind Some of The HTC PPC 6800

Mighty quick question. When i run Need for Speed i get this message sometimes:
Insufficient memory to start application. Memory allocated for heaps=6700000, Application code + data size = 916784
and this is even after i did the reg edit. What does this mean?? and is there a way to fix this

I am honestly not too sure as I've never played NFS on my phone. I would say try disabling tf3d, restart and try it. If it still gives that error then it's not memory usage, it might be something else!

Yeah it's quite odd. Sometimes it works and other times it just doesn't. I can try when i first restart my phone and get that same error so i don't think it has to do with memory, but i will disable tf3d and see what happens. I might start a thread about this because i bet we will see this with another program somewhere down the line so finding a fix now would be good

edit: disabiling tf3d seems to have worked so maybe it was a memory thing. But why would it work sometimes when tf3d was running???

You need to run clean RAM before starting the game. Set it to level 3 cleaning and you will be good to go. I can have 70 megs or 105 megs free and it doesn't matter sometimes until I run the cleaner. It always works after though.

This was happing to me as well. Opening the keyboard to put the screen in landscape mode allows me to run the game. I don't run any mem cleaner or turn off tf3d. I don't know why this works but I haven't had a problem since.

I wondered why the game never played on landscape lol....but turning off tf3d does work for me

i have never used tf3d but using it now until we can unlock and flash 6.5!! tf3d2 is nice but is a big mem hog!!
