Re: What is the proper way to put the back cover on?

I agree that the cover is awkward. I push it straight on, but one of the clips on the side does not seat properly. So after I push it straight on, I slide the cover up about 1/8" (as if I am going to remove it) and then slide it right back. This allows all the clips to engage properly. I found this to be the fastest way without having to remove the stylus.

I see people posting their connection speed--but why? It's one thing to show EVDO/HSDPA speeds, but I see people posting wired connections and I am puzzled (especially when the speed is not all that impressive). So, in that spirit, I will post mine:

Wow, that was so simple that I am embarrassed!
I guess that I was used to leaving the stylus in my old Touch. |

Re: What is the proper way to put the back cover on?
i leave my stylus in...i dont even use that thing..just put the bottom left corner on first, sliding it over the stylus, puts its the perfect spot when u lay the cover on....just slide down after.. no fidigting with placements, no not lining it up right, never have the bulding door where u need to slide it up and redo it...works everytime no hassle for me

Re: What is the proper way to put the back cover on?
I used to take the stylus out, as I recommended in my unboxing vid, but I've gotten much better at putting the back on with the stylus in so I'm doing that now. I guess I don't care much about the finish at the top of the stylus too as looking at it now that should be worn off in about a month.
But with the back in one hand, phone in other, I keep the bottom of the back at the same level as where it will eventually end, and the top is at about a 10 degree incline. Make sure the stylus goes through the hole which will even out the bottom left, so really just make sure the bottom right is lined up evenly, do everything else the same and Whala! I don't know if I spelled that right or this even makes sense this early in the morning but hey the whole process works for me. |
