Are you having trouble staying in 3G (getting stuck in 1X), VZW TP2 folks?

Well it happened to my New HTC VZ Imagio yesturday...stuck in 1x, Had to make the *228 option 2 to get it back, took 3 tries.. WTF

Wow.

I'd say we're definitely looking at a hardware issue then unless the Imagio uses the same radio firmware as the TP2. Maybe 8 knows from his dump although I don't think he could dump the radio without an unlocker. I guess we won't know until the unlocker comes.

I asked my brother to check the Imagio on display in his VZW store (Princeton, NJ), and sure enough it's sitting in 1x... surrounded by phones in EVDO/3G.
