I tried that. A new "written" notes is stored on my sd card which is ok, but the call recording wav files are still stored in /my documents/notes, on internal memory.

I also tried to change the My documents in advanced config to storage card but the wav files are still saved on internal memory. It sucks because I only have 100 mb left on internal memory and 1 min of in call recording produce a 3 mb wav file

Maybe the workaround would be to move the wav file after every recorded call.

Moving it would work. However, I just figured out something. I hadn't realized that there was the Record option on the menu, and was clicking on Notes from the dialer, opening the recording toolbar, and starting the recording. I could usually get this done while it was ringing. That way, the sound file is stored within the Note, rather than a stand-alone sound file. And it is stored on the storage card.

Could you clarify how this is done? I can't find "notes" in the dialer, or the recording toolbar.

Re: In Call Recording. Where's the file?

Can someone tell me how to remove the recording from the notes folder. It will not let me delete it. Thanks.

How are you trying to delete it...from what program? I just launched Notes, did a tap and hold on a in-call recorded note, and chose the delete option from the pop-up menu. It deleted it just fine.

Re: In Call Recording. Where's the file?

thanks for the quick reply. I figured out my problem....you need to do a soft reset before you can erase it. Is there an easy way to make these recordings save themselves on the storage card instead of the main memory? I have a Touch Pro 2 by Verizon.

Re: In Call Recording. Where's the file?

Can't you change voice recording quality to lower mhz/bit ? I havn't tried it yet but I think tha's the way to reduce file size.

Yes but only by changing the default location for your notes. Which means all of your notes will be stored on the storage card, and not just your recordings. Launch Notes, tap the menu soft key, then options. There you can select main memory or storage card. You can also tap the Global Input Options link where you'll be able to change the voice recording format.
