Verizon Touch Pro2 on Alltel?

I really, really, want to get the TP2, but I'm stuck in a contract with Alltel until Nov (so July is the earliest I can upgrade I think). I really don't want to be in a contract again, so if I straight-up by the Verizon TP2 can I use it on the Alltel Network?

I believe the issue lies in the radios. Which we can't change till you can HSPL the phone. I assume if there is enough demand someone will figure it out.

I have a verizion tp2 activated on alltel.

it has nothing to do with the radios. If you can get Alltel to accept the ESN, it shouldn't be very difficult.
