Re: World Clock Question
I to noticed the same problem. I added several cities via the weather database. All work to get the weather information, but they all come up in world clock as GMT-12.
I don't see any settings in the weather database to set a time zone. Is there a fix for this problem? |

Re: World Clock Question
No fix here but I have the problem too. I have my local time set to New York and it's telling me that Las Vegas is 12 hours ahead of my local time.
I'm on the stock ROM. Does anyone know if any of the custom ROMs fix this problem? Basically if I add 1 entry using the Weather Database, it seems to screw up cities 'below' that entry. If I remove that entry in the Weather Database, then all is well again. Its like some fields get miss matched somewhere between the clock and the weather app. Last edited by wirecutter; 11-30-2009 at 05:03 PM. |

The difference might be that custom roms running winmo6.5 or later have an option to use the GPS/HTC location service (using cellular triangulation) to give you location. Because of this I suspect the my location works fine. It displays the names of the small towns around where I live when I drive around. |

Re: World Clock Question
I just found this. http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/htc-t...one-issue.html
Haven't tried it yet, but it seems to make sense for 'realigning' things after adding a city. The link in that post to the db editor seem broken. I'm going to give this a try: http://www.xiirus.net/articles/artic...tor-p9otd.aspx will post back the results. ---------- and the results are in. Seems to work ok. The sqlite dll is here: http://www.sqlite.org/sqlitedll-3_6_20.zip Last edited by wirecutter; 11-30-2009 at 06:04 PM. |
