Use scroll bar as up/down keys?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

It would be so nice to be able to scroll through my messages in my inbox without opening them first... (without opening the keyboard or using the soft keyboard)

i agree. this is much needed for me. i do miss the up and down from the D-pad.

any ideas??

Theres a app that lets you use the vol up and down keys as dpad but you lose the function to raise and lower the volume.. I have it on my Tp2 works great ( just like you missed being able to scroll thru the email and text with the dpad)...

Thanks that works, I wish I was able to get rid of the double tap for left/right though. Maybe someone will figure out how to use the zoom bar to get this acccomplished.
