Thoughts on the Verizon Touch Pro2 - Page 2

Does the Verizon TP2 come with a screen protector? I think it was on phonearena.com I was comparing the Verizon, Sprint, and Tmobile TP2s and the Sprint one listed coming with a screen protector but the Verizon one didnt.
I'm just learning that the TP2 doesn't have a camera flash. That sucks, I use the flash on my TP for half the pictures I take and it makes a good flashlight.

No, it doesnt come with a screen protector..I just ordered some from ebay.

I have the sprint version and even though it came with a screen protector i'm not using it. The screen looks so much better without it. I am just extra careful not to scratch the screen now. Not for everybody i know but i was the same way until i tried to put it on and was unsuccesful.

I'm not getting a screen protector because i have a few stuck pixels, it's like a free phone insurance policy!

Had mine for 6 days now. Just getting used to it. Came from a mogul with DCD ROM and TF2D. Only a couple of complaints/issues. Cant get rid of the SMS/MMS 'message sent' notification. The tweak doesn't seem to work. Also there seem to be TWO SMS setups. One from favorites and the other from the messaging tab, why 2?? They don't function the same either. Also the BT volume is so low its unusable. Its not the headset which still works fine on the mogul.

I'm sure all this will be worked out. I will be looking at the custom ROM's when they start coming out.

I absolutely love this phone now that the message sent alert fix has been found! I honestly can't think of anything that I would change about it. HTC did their homework before bringing this phone to market..

Yeah I'm doing the same thing. I like my screens to be completely bare. As long as you never touch the screen with a stylus and are careful, there should never be any annoying scratches.

Well folks I have spent about 2 hours with my new TP2, and I can honestly say WOW! Way to go VZW! Finally a smartphone that is SMART. Second we finally get a phone at the beginning of the lifecycle and not at the end. This is a huge departure for VZW and I am frankly glad they got the msg.

The keyboard is clean, easy to use, and has very good tactile response. This is big for my fat fingers. The screen is just gorgeous, and I cannot wait to fire up iGO8 on this thing.

Biggest disappointment...no flash for the camera, although I do not really use a phone's camera when I have a great Canon digital camera.
