Sending picture messages, friend with TouchPro can't see them

I tried to send two pics to my friend who has a TouchPro with Mighty Rom 6.5, and the pic size sending from my TP2w was 674K. She tried to open it and it said the pics exceeded the receiving limit. I know before when I had my TP1 it would ask me to compress anything over 500K, but it looks like the sending limit on the TP2 is 1000K. Anyone know how I can either send the pics smaller? Thanks.
