Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.

By the way, instead of washing your hands or wearing rubber gloves that we normally use to wash dishes wouldn't it be easier to handle the sucker wearing latex surgical gloves?

i have way sweaty hands and i think the washing real good should be good enough... i touched the sticky site a few times and it didnt leave resedue or anything...... Id be to afraid the gloves would keep sticking and it seems like it would add more dificultee, but then again i never tried......

i say follow the steps the OP wrote and do what feels comfortable i.e. gloves, regardless of how ya do it, follow closely and it should come out like mine.....awesomeee

No, don't worry. Within 2 days, they'll be completely gone and you'll be

Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.

So I used this method to apply the screen protector that came in the box to my TP2. I have never put on a screen protector before so it was my first time . So I followed all the instructions here and after I had put it on I was able to push out all the air bubbles (few) that were caught under the screen quite easily. There was a streak that was lighter than the rest of the phone running down the middle....but it was gone the next day just like hypnotic said it would.

I used a soap and water, but didnt wear any gloves. The only problem I have is that I think I may have put the non-adhesive side down on the screen ...the reason I think that is because the screen protector shows every single fingerprint/gesture on it and usually by the end of the day it is covered in a foggy layer of oil/grease from my fingers. Can anyone confirm that I did mess up lol, or is this just a bad screen protector?

Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.

OK FIRST, THANK YOU!!!!!!! I had no idea you could get this kind of a result with just a little preparation
before I put on the screen protector, NO DUST SOME FINGER PRINTS
(don't understand use rubber gloves) but all in all one HELL of a good job!!!!!
and yes I did use soap and water.

One thing you should add,

DON'T ATTEMPT THIS WHEN OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ARE HOME!!!!

You will be the Butt of the Family Jokes!
after seeing me set up the bath room with the table, lamp, half naked, the shower running, with rubber gloves,
you can believe I got some unwanted attention ALL IN GOOD FUN

It's not a bad screen protector, it just doesn't avoid fingerprints AT ALL.

Re: [Guide]Perfect application of screen protectors with pics.

What I find interesting is that Boxwave does not instruct you to use the water method on their website and there have been posts in other threads by people that have used their screen protectors saying they lasted for over a year.
