Need help - Missing SMS messaging

I recently received my Verizon TP2 and noticed that I dont have sms/mms messaging on the phone. I was able to add email accounts to the phone but I dont see text messages in the account picker or the drop down box if I am in an email account. Any thoughts on how I can restore it without hard resetting the phone?

maybe find your carrier arcsoft cab and see if that maybe works?

id do a hard reset if it came like that that should fix it (Under Settings > System > Clear Storage )

Edit: BTW thats gone erase all the settings u put on it so far...
