if you choose to keep your basic today screen, do a search in the software forum for plug-ins.... htc home is a great plug-in that has a launcher, contact favs, time, message notifications. today agenda is a great free appointment plugin too

Re: TouchFlo 3D is not for me. Now what?

I have used everything and think that overall usability, speed, and dependability leads to Ultimate Launch. Click on the link below to see the pictures of my device using Ultimate Launch and various today plugins. Great memory use and battery life.

Where and how do you go about installing this? Wouldn't mind giving it a try. Thanks!

Re: TouchFlo 3D is not for me. Now what?

FYI, I tested every option mentioned in this thread. My setup was changing on a daily basis for a while, but now it's settled. I use Pocket Digital Clock with stock messaging plug-in for today screen. Softkeys are Second Today and ScreenOff. Second Today is weather panel and Easy Today Launcher (better than ultimate launch, IMO).

Re: TouchFlo 3D is not for me. Now what?

SPB MobileShell 3.5. Stable, customizable, uses less memory than TFf3D, and no battery issues AFAIK. Regarding the latter, I have seen posts on the SPB MS forums about this, but have not experienced any issues personally.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Another nod for SPB MS 3.5..

Less resources used, faster and customizable.

Re: TouchFlo 3D is not for me. Now what?

Mobileshell is nice, but $30 way too expensive imo. If you add up all the apps they sell for the GUI you would end up spending $1,000 for software on a phone lol.
