HUH? i'm sorry, but i've never heard of that. you're definitely mistaken. I've unlocked and flashed tons of touch pro's and performed hundreds of clear storage and it has never touched the microSD card.

Sure, I was just mistaken that when I did clear storage that my microsd card just so happened was wiped out at the same exact time. Coincidence I'm sure.... Even if you use the regular hard reset method, I would still always remove your microsd card just in case.

Well that sucks that it happened to you but that is not the function of the Clear Storage program. It only does a hard reset and does not touch the microSD card. This is very well known information. It is recommended to do a clear storage after a rom flash all over the touch pro upgrade forums and discussed plenty and you are the only one that says this.

I'm not saying thats what it's function is... but you are coming off as if ITS NOT POSSIBLE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

Maybe it was a fluke? No idea.... Either way, I would rather be safe than sorry when I have tons of important information on my microsd card.

doing a hard reset returns it to the state it was in when you pulled it out of the box "new".
no regedits or cab installs will be there

I agree with razorloves. Had my Verizon TP since it came out and NEVER was my card wiped with all the Hard resets performed!

btw my TP2 will be my hands in less than 48 hours!!!
