My homepage is set to my orb page but the search feature uses bing still. Maybe its a registry setting?

I agree with simply setting your homepage to an alternate provider 2. Three-way calling from the user manual below. Note I have NOT gotten this to work. The icons on I see on the screen (Sprint Version) do NOT match the instructions. ![]() With three-way calling, you can talk to two people at the same time. When using three-way calling on the Nationwide Sprint Network, the normal airtime rates will be charged for each of the two calls. Roaming charges apply when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint Network. 1. Place the first call or accept an incoming call. 2. To put the first call on hold and display the phone keypad so you can make the second call, you can do one of the following: * Press the Talk key. * On the Phone screen, tap Talk icon * On the Phone screen, tap ‘Keypad’ 3. Tap the phone keypad keys to enter the second phone number, and then press the Talk key to make the second call. [I don't see a Talk key. I see END CALL'. I believe the Talk key is the actual button on the device itself. Not sure.] 4. When you’re connected to the second party, do one of the following to begin the three-way call: * Press the Talk key. * On the Phone screen, tap ’Talk Icon’ * On the Phone screen, tap ’Conference’ If one of the parties in the current call hangs up, you and the remaining caller still remain connected. To end the three-way call, press the End key or tap End. All other callers will be disconnected. Let me know if this works for you. ![]() |

I did a search for 'bing' inside the registry and found nothing. My guess is Bing is hard coded into the browser, but i could be wrong. |

Re: Change default search provider and conference calling?
Was able to get the conference call to work by:
1. Dialing the first number 2. Connect the first number 3. Put the first number on hold 4. Click 'Talk' or 'Keypad' 5. Dial the new number 6. Click the 'Talk' button on the TP2 (Left button on the device) 7. Connect the second call. 8. Once connected, Click 'Talk' or 'Conference' The numbers will now be connected. Hope this helps. |

Re: Change default search provider and conference calling?
This is where I had to go to fix my default google search bar. Maybe its where you change default search provider??
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila] Modify the standard search engine in the internet tab (default below is Google) "InternetSearchUrl"="http://www.google.com/m?source=mobilesearchapp&v=1.0&aq=f&q=%s" |
