Re: Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent
Might try looking at what's running in HKLM\Services then...

This is what SKTools reports as for the services on my device. The format is <name>,<status>,<prefix>. I wonder what that

Yeah, but to my knowledge there's never been an option to disable the message sent notification pop up through the notifications settings screen, regardless of how you set the reg keys that GoodThing2Life suggested changing. Regardless, I have set that key to 0 & 1, and neither of them is controlled through the systems settings screen. This is totally outrageous! It's like the first hack every WM user does when they get a new phone, right? |

Re: Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent
If there is not anything under the Sounds & Notifications Settings, then THEY are disable (hidden) in the registry. I have come across one RGU that listed some entries as hidden, now I have to find it again to see if there was anything from those menus.

Re: Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent
To my knowledge all that does is control whether or not a new message displays in a pop up in the left corner of the screen. If you disable this setting you have to go in to text messaging to read your message. If you enable it, then new messages will pop up in a bubble in the lower left corner. I don't think it has anything to do with the message sent notification.
