Re: Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent

Oh well, I THOUGHT it had fixed my VZ phone but after three consecutive soft resets the pop-up came back again.

At this point, I'm not really worrying about it. I have a hard button set to enter so a quick push of that dismisses the pop-up & I will wait for the unlocker & custom ROM's to permanently fix the problem (although I'm not holding my breath waiting)

Editing the REGISTRY:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settin gs\SMSNoSentMsg

to Decimal value of 2 fixed this for me. I found it in another thread a few days ago, sorry I don't have the link...

Re: Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent

we wont have to worry about it at all soon. eventually the unlocker will be out and then we will never EVER see this problem again.

EDIT: Attached fix thanks to tender (cab thanks to 8notime)
For those of you who still want some sort of sent notification (small envelope in taskbar) that cab is the 2nd attached
So which 1 of these do install to disable the sent notification and still have sound or vibe or something when it gets sent? Or do I need to install both cabs?

I have VVM installed to & haven't seen any problems in testing over the last few days.

I've attached .cab that undoes anything that was done with my original cab and then implements the fix above. Thanks to Tender for finding this fix.
So now that I have installed this the only indication I have that the text message was sent is by the 1x signal on my taskbar? Is there any other way to have it notify me it was sent? What I would really like it to do is vibrate when the text is sent and that's it. I have tried messing with the sounds & notification options in the settings...But there is no text message sent option to try??? Only option for texts is new text!!! Anyone have any answers to this? Thanks

i'm not sure how to setup what you're asking, but when you send a text message and it fails, it will let you know. if it's successful, it will not say anything. So, that's your confirmation. If you need a visual or audio confirmation, then don't install this cab. The reason for this cab is to get rid of the annoying pointless confirmation, because if it's unsuccessful at sending, it will let you know.
