Disable VZW TP2 Message Sent

you will no longer get that messege, just an sms icon in the status bar that goes away in a few seconds to indicate an sms is being sent

I installed the CAB and it does what it says, but I have one side effect:

With Sprite Backup installed, the 'backup complete' notification window no longer appears for my nightly scheduled backup. A notification icon appears at the top, and pressing it takes me to the 'notifications' screen where the 'backup complete' notification is shown, but it cannot be dismissed (other notifications can be dismissed - missed calls, etc). Ironically, even though Sprite Backup performs a soft reset as part of the backup routine, I have found that performing a soft reset by pressing the button after the fact makes the notification go away.

Does anyone else use Sprite Backup and seeing the same effect, or does anyone have a suggestion of how to fix this?

I have an issue very similar to yours recneps, but mine is still with the sent notification... I generally like to exit out of text messaging and get back to the home screen before I turn the screen off and put my phone away. From what I can tell if I time it just right, or not right I guess, I hit the x right when the SMS icon pops up at the top and then it doesn't go away. When I click the icon, the notification shows but I can't dismiss it because the button is not there. I don't use TF3D but I wouldn't imagine this having any effect on it? Normally I wouldn't mind the SMS icon at the top, but the Notification button replaces the Calender button and this is extremely annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

I installed the cab and randomly i will still get the sms/txt msg sent bubble

Other times i get the System Administrator: your text msg has been sent msg as well. Can't figure out why it comes back. I also had this problem on my 6800 with the System Administrator txt msg coming up mostly from those with people with iphones. But now its to any phone.

same here, the cab definitely did not work for me.

I can change the settings in advanced config & it fixes it temporarily, but every time I soft reset the pop-up comes back & I have to redo the settings again.

Aren't you using Vito SMS Chat? The reg changes in the cab are only compatible with the standard WM text messaging application.

I just had that "system admin message sent" thing show up for the first time after sending a Glympse text. weird..

that thing is the worst because it makes a sound vibrates and shows up as a new txt msgs.

i would way rather have the bubble sms sent msg instead if i was stuck with anything

this works for me, has worked for every phone since my 6700, although im sprint. give it a try.
i forgot who made this, but i think it was codyppc but im not sure it was a long time ago.
