Thank you everyone for working on this. This workaround is more than good enough until we can start flashing our own ROMs.

Is there any negative effects for setting options to 0 instead of 13?

I'm not getting the pop up box but I too am getting the "new message" indicator instead, that disappears. It would be nice to figure out how to make that not show up also.

SWEET!!! finally got rid of that crap. thanks 8notime. when i was trying it earlier, i had the smsnosentmsg on 1, so i just changed it to 0 and good to go.

this is awesome 8. now if you can just find the little indicator. that would be cool. its less annoying then the ballon but this is good. i dont get my tp2 for another 2 weeks anyways.

This could be a coincidence, but a few of my friends are telling me I'm sending them duplicate texts in the last few days. Has anyone else heard this since they've done the reg hacks or installed the .cab I posted?

i just asked a couple people that i text a bunch, and no duplicates. working perfect.
