How many Touch Pro2s do we have on PPCGeeks? (build date thread too)
 
Yes, another thread, another poll.
But this one serves a purpose to see how many Touch Pro2 users are here on PPCGeeks. Since many of us are going to be spending a lot of time on this particular forum now, it'd be nice to see how many of us are here and the amount per carrier.

Original, TELUS, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon... let us know! (Didn't want to leave ATT users out, so i created a special slot for you guys too).

Build Date: if you want, post your carrier & build date, just to see what's out there (didn't see a dedicated build date thread like we had for the original TP). To check build date (sprint): bring up your phone dialpad, dial ##786#

No offense but the TP2 on t-Mobile was poorly built. I have the Sprint version and so far it has the best construction, IMO. Telus has a solid TP2 as well though.

tmobile is a cheap low-end company, most of their customers are prepaid what can you expect :mrgreen:

good for your opinion, our we seriously gonna get into what touch pro is better ? that was a dumb comment in the wrong thread to try and make that statement.

I like the build quality, i had a sprint touch pro and it was a piecer to this, the stylus is built into it nicely unlicpke the others, the soft reset it on the outside as well as the sd card slot covered nicely(not like we have to soft reset anymore.lol)...... plus the nice fm radio.... The touch pro2 is the touch pro2, geeze

I agree with u 100%. I'm with sprint and just got my TP2, but my cousin is with T mobile and got it the day it came out. They are the same phone minus the headphone jack. The build quality is good on both devices. That comment was definitely not true

Yeah no real need to bash t-mobile, one of my buddies at work has a t-mobile tp2 and its just as solid as mines and honestly this is the first time I actually like all the various versions of the same phone, even the tmobile version.

Edit: oh yeah and my build date is 8/14/09

I have my Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 coming in tomorrow, can't wait! I'll see what the build date is then.

the point of my comments were to prove tmobile is not the only one for having a bad track record... Sorry i didnt go about it the way you wanted to but deal with it. i didnt all the sudden post sprints build quality sucks....
yes i know all phones have their problems but dont tell me sprints didnt possibly have the most issues especially via keyboard.

lets not turn this into a company/model debate, its the same damn phone is what i was sayin.... the build quality in all of em seem to be great...

Ordered on Friday 9/4, received on Sat. 9/5, Original Activation Date 9/10(cause I had to wait for a brand new replacement "Diamond"), Sprint's Manufacturers Date 8/12/09.

I got my Sprint TP2 today, never had a smart phone before, not really sure what to do with it, but liking it so far!
