is it different for tmo version? on sprint, you can only check stuff like ROM date by doing that. to get manufacturer's/build date, you have to press a code into the phone's dialpad...

thats what i did waiting for my tp2 from tmobile, i called ups early cause i saw a ups on my street already but they didnt get to me, i was worried they forgot me, so i found a ups driver and made him go back to my place lol, no i didnt make him but it followed his asz

The only date it shows there is the ROM date. I have the Telus version so maybe it might be different from TMO

I think the above competiton was bewteen the VZW guys and gals. We just officialy got ours Saturday and were comparing build dates.

I have had my tp2 for a week now. I was stuck with a treo pro for about a month after being faithful to my mogul for almost two years. I think my only grips with the phone are the lack of flash and no easy access to the sd card. Both of which I have been working with the treo pro. If any one has seen a replacement battery cover that has an sd door like the tmobile version please let me know. So other than that I don't think I have been this happy with a phone out of the box in years.

Yes I know, I just couldn't resist rubbing it in that Verizon users were a little late to the game. Of course, in that category Telus beats most of us on this forum, with T-Mob users coming in next. All in fun, and I know most of us are really enjoying the new device. I'm still loving mine. It isn't perfect, but its comes closest to perfect that I've experienced or purchased, and I've had a rather lengthy list, which includes the Palm Pre.
