Sprint Touch Pro2 owners who have them in hand: FM radio functional?

Does the FM radio work, out of the box, from Sprint?

probably the same situation with the first touch pro. All we can hope is that they figure out how to unlock it like them did with the diamond. Fingers crossed. Not a biggy if they don't since i barely listen to the radio anyway

FM radio isnt even a feature on these, let alone one that will work out of the box lol

and there is no situation with the TP1, it just didnt have it either...

it was a feature on the diamond wasnt it, not a hack??

Sorry Boredandtatted but your wrong my friend the TP1 did have an fm radio in the gsm version and even worked on the AT&T version. Just the cdma versions were locked down for some reason. The diamond cdma version was locked down as well but there was some sort of hack to enable it. My girlfriend has the diamond and it did not come with the radio pre-installed you needed a custom rom with the hack or enable the hack yourself.

i think he meant cdma version cant get the fm radio working.... and hes right, it wouldnt workkk...

on a side note its working on my gsm tp2..... but i know the topic said sprint

I know it doesn't work on the cdma touch pro lol but they were able to get it to work on the cdma touch diamond though and it didn't come standard. He said that it just wasn't a feature with the touch pro which it was indeed, it had just been locked down for the cdma version. Which sounds like the exact same situation all over again with the cdma and gsm TP2

it does work on the tmobile tp2... your last sentence made it sound like the gsm one dont either....

I addressed this thread to owners who had them in hand so we could get legitimate answers....not speculation.


I don appreciate the discussion, though.

FYI:
The TP2 comes with the FM radio. It's the carriers that gimp them.
