Re: Using sprint Touch pro 2 in different country
Hello, I'm very familiar with using Sprint phones overseas. I had a blackberry 8830 while in Iraq. The phone came unlocked just like the TP2. I just bought a SIM card and put it into my phone and started making phone calls. Too easy. I did the same thing in Europe (Germany, France and Spain).
When you call Sprint International, they'll tell you that the TP2 is already unlocked. |

cheaper purchase price due to network subsidies. HTC own branded TP2s cost a lot more. though the branded TP2s have their GSM radios disabled within United States as i understand.

What is the procedure to use the SIM when oversea?
I dont need to tell Sprint in advance right? So when oversea, turn the phone off, put in the oversea SIM and turn it back on and it should work? No other settings? |
