Re: Testing out the tp2's gps

I tried iGO8 and TomTom and they both worked flawlessly absolutely no lag at all with either program! My only issue is that I can't get iGO8 working in landscape at full resolution, the minute I select screen orientation to landscape it runs the program in VGA mode for a few seconds then shuts down! Portrait, its beautiful!

Re: Testing out the tp2's gps

I'm curious if the GPS will lock in airplane mode. For instance in an airplane, or in a foreign country without service. The TP1 would but it was tricky and didn't work well (or usually not at all).

Re: Testing out the tp2's gps

I havent really posted since i got my touch pro2 from tmobile.... First off i dont wanna get into a review but Wow, this is a amazing phone, the screen and battery were my main reasons for switching to the pro2 and they have both exceeded my expectations, my wifes diamond and my old pro1 just seem tiny now screenwise....

anyways back on topic, ive tested gps and it works great and fast, it gives me avout a 3 sec lock indoors and almost instantly outdoors... great job this time htc, great device...
