As long as your out of the States, you should be able to use the Sprint TP2 in most places. As long as they have the frequency that the TP2 runs on.

I was unlocking my phone (the HTC Touch Pro 2 <SPRINT>) and I was using a Diamond unlocker (I thought it would be fine), but during the process there was a connection error and now my phone seems to be bricked. I can't get it to even turn on, get to a bootloader screen, or anything even remotely close.
The one odd thing that it does though, is when I connect it to my computer, it pops up and my computer recognizes there is a device there. In my Device Manager there is an unknown device called: Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM. I have tried every combination of two buttons, including holding down the reset button with all of them, but nothing gets me anywhere.
If anyone could help, AND PLEASE somebody tell me , that it can be save it

oh damn, the diamond unlocker on the TP2???? Man oh man, I believe you bricked your phone! Try to get it into bootloader (hold down the power button...top button and volume down button at the same time and reset the phone) and run the TP2 unlocker. Have you tried to flash the SHIPPED rom? Other than that IDK, that just SUX!

Go to a service center and play dumb. And don't try flashing one phone with another's anything ever again. Sprint repair reps are pretty slow, so just say: "eeeehhh? not work!" and don't ever admit you did that.

try running the re-locker, it bought mine back to life.

It appears that in order to remove the Sprint SIM card, it requires you to break the retaining strap holding it in place.

Not sure I understand why you'd want to unlock it?
You trying to get other service for it or something?
If so, 99 bucks a month simply everything plan allows for unlimited roaming......As well as everything else.
Personally I don't get why anyone would choose another network over Sprint. It's the best one with the best prices out there right now.

lol... besides the supposed gaps to be filled in by AT&T's (GSM generalization) 'huge' network (superbowl ha)... besides being cool... i'm still trying to figure out why it's such a great thing myself.

Perhaps someone could honor us with a few great advantages... as you can see in my bio, I've been CDMA for a longggggggg time.
