This is an email from UPS
Thank you for your e-mail. Our system indicates that billing information was processed on 09/05/09. However, this package was actually shipped on 09/06/09, and is scheduled for delivery on 09/09/09.
"Billing Information Received" indicates that UPS has received the electronic transmission of package detail from the shipper. In this instance our records indicate the package was not actually given to UPS on the date that the shipper processed the billing information for shipment. When this occurs the scheduled delivery date must be recalculated based on the date that we actually took possession of the package.
Please be aware that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not included as transit days. The ship date is also not calculated as a transit day. To calculate shipment time-in-transit, please use our Calculate Time and Cost feature at the following link: |
