I was not impressed with the bigger screen. I thought it was like "BAM!" HUGE HDPDI 29 incher one eye python and all. But nope.... kinda inny winnie. lol
I compared the overall size of the TP2 with the G1. The G1'a body is longer and it only sports a 3.2 inch. Well I guess thats a good thing for TP2. The only thing I see right on the dimension is the thickness. It's not that bulky at all.

Honestly, Even HTC or Qualcomm release the driver for that chip, It will not be instantly compared to PSP's graphics. Coz if that's the case. There is something way too seriously wrong. A GPU to match or surpassed Iphones GPU is being crippled? I don't think so.

Hardware is there. Drivers to unlock are not there. Htc refusses to pay liceace fee for it.

just to repost this from the other thread..

yep - just to throw my 2 cents in...
i too would love to have the propor drivers for 2d and 3d acceleration.
and i might not buy htc products if they don't get their act together in that regard. its wrong that my itouch is so much smoother (i got it for free) and plays better games. but there is so much wrong with the iturd that i wong go into here....
winmo for life. maybe not htc though

I understand that. But noone can be able to tell the capacity of the GPU. Not all GPU's are created equal. LOL

Its not that easy. Xda been working on it for 3 years. They have made slight gains.

There is nothing wrong with the Iphone. I'm sure If Iphone goes to ur carrier, U'll be first in line.

I'll tell U what peeps. By the time the first Iphone came out. There is already XDA Flame. This phone has it's own GPU.A NVIDIA GoForce 5500. That chip is used by some Laptops U know. The problem is, Noone made a high end game. They will not make it just for 1 phone. There is no market. So even if we have the drivers for the MSM72XX. There is nothing much to do with it. They prolly did not release the drivers or HTC do not wanna pay for the license coz maybe, Just maybe, It's crappy anyways. It's just a waste of money.

Read up on the MSM7200 ImageOn specs..they even use a psp as an example.

The GPU makes a HUGE difference. CPU's are not made to handle graphics at all. That is why the concept of graphic cards came out or internal graphics in the motherboard. It is what caused the boom in gaming technology.

I don't particularly care about it in form of games but I'm upset because this would make the device speedier and work more efficiently with less energy use. (oh i forgot to mention, if gpu offloads the process of the interface, you'll actually use less energy, its in the specs as well)

Also, XDA has large gains but the problem was stability of the driver...the improvement in video playback is easily seen and games run faster. Also they never actually did the 2d driver, only 3d and they said that it is possible that the 2d and 3d are linked and are effecting each other.
