Re: Text messages not being marked as "read"...

Let's use Gmail as an example. When I get a new email (notification light starts flashing if I don't hear the alert), I'll slide over to the preview screen in TF3D. At this point, I realize it is an email I don't want to read in it's entirety. Therefore, I want to get the notification to disappear without the pain of actually opening up the email (tapping on the envelope and email preview icon in the middle of TF3D). In this preview mode, I have a left soft key of "Inbox" and a right soft key of "Menu." The "Menu" soft key gives 3 options: (1) New Mail; (2) Accounts; (3) Send/Recieve... That's it! Your method above requires I tap on "Inbox" which takes me into that emails inbox. Then, another "Menu" option appears with your fix as quoted above. What I'd really like to be able to do, is mark an email as read once I view it's preview in TF3D. Let's say I have 5 emails, I would like to clear the notification by "flicking" through all 5 emails in TF3D. Is this possible? It recently starting doing this with my SMS messages (clearing the notification by viewing it in TF3D...it didn't do this when I first got it, and I'm not sure what I did to make it react this way. Again, thanks for helping out |

Re: Text messages not being marked as "read"...
CosmoPilot...well stated! it is frustrating that TF3D view window does not allow a user to mark the message as read. please keep us posted if you find a fix.

You may have the wrong time stamp if you're roaming b/c timestamps for CDMA devices are handled by the carrier.
On another note, this seems to work!
