Since Yay4Juggs didn't say anything else here's the cab. The file in it apparently came from him. Based on the date I'm assumming it was from an older build of WM. Many thanks to him for making this available as it solves an extremely annoying problem. The purpose of the cab is to simplify the install process for forcing the .dll to overwrite the existing one. You will be prompted to soft reset afterward. Thanks to psycho_maniac for pointing me to the forum where the dll orriginated. there I think I covered my basis this time.

Re: Text messages not being marked as "read"...

I had the same problem when I first got my TP2 and it drove me crazy. I don't know why, but for SMS it stopped doing it (without installing the fixes in this thread).

I still have the same problem with email. Does the above .dll or .cab fixes address emails as well? If not, is there a fix for marking emails as read without actually opening each individual email?

Thanks a million if you can point me in the right direction...

Cosmo

Re: Text messages not being marked as "read"...

some one PLEASE HELP ME!
I can't find were I can delete this "Mark SMS Messages as Read Fix.cab" file on my tp2, its not in remove programs or in any of the folders in file explorer.. I even changed my texts to be unthreaded as another poster did and even then it only let me read the text but when I clicked reply it just went to my sms screen
