theres not really drastic changes IMO... the back covers are all diff mostly and ATT did jack up their keyboard it looks like... that TMO one does look rather sickly though...

not everyone... HTCs stand alone branded TP2 doesnt have 3.5 jack and neither does TMO i thought

i misunderstood my bad man. you are correct. ON a side note, hopefully someone can find out how to change the text message hard key to control. There is already a message button, no need for txt/sms and a message button imo.

I think all of them fail
Verizon because there's a favorites button instead of a ctrl key
ATT because its just dumb
the other two because there's basically 2 sms buttons

we cant do that can we, reprogram the keyboard like that??? i wouldve thought someone wouldve did this a long time ago by now if its possible... whats so special about the ctrl button anyways, copy/paste???

the TP1 already has a txt and msg button right next to each other, so its not like it something new

Fn probably serves to function as the CTRL key on those phones, but yes, Cut/Copy/Paste is the only reason to have that key anyway. I'm a CCP freak and use that all the time, and even though I use the CTRL keys on a computer, I don't think I've ever used it on the phone... always just tap/hold and do it from the menu.

I agree with the tap and hold -especially if you don't have the slider out. However, there are certain programs that do not support the tap and hold. I'll give you a great example....if you're on PPCG with Opera and want to add a hyperlink using the editor's "Insert Link" button. You can copy the URL from another page into the clipboard no problem with tap and hold, but when the Insert Link pop-up appears asking for the URL to add on the PPCG post you're writing, it does not support tap/hold!!! I had to put my old html hat on the other day to finish a post with the old url and /url tags
