TP2 Control key on physical Keyboard

I made a similar thread over at XDA and got no responses... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=545636

I tried modifying the keymaps like people were doing in this thread but it didn't seem to make any difference:

You've got some answers on XDA now, looks like there is a way.

Here's an idea, HTC's next model has 2 or 3 user-programmable keys on the keyboard, with little mini-LCD/LED screens on the key to show you what function you have chosen

Are you reading the same thread I am? Cause I have the last post over there and nothing new has been added.....
