I think if the TP1 had an optimized ROM from one of the chefs in the upgrade forum it would be closer. But, the TP2 does pre-loading of programs that is supposed to make it more responsive.
We'll find out in 33m 48s. I'm running a benchmark on the EnergyROM build 23015. (Using the exact software they did, [SPB Benchmark].)

I find it crazy that even the diamond beat the tp. Crazy. I wouldn't of thought that seeing the TP was the flagship for htc atleast on cdma.

SPB Benchmark wouldn't fully run the tests, so I used VSBenchmark 07. Here are the results:

Re: getting rid of TP1 with TP2 comes

ok but like I said a while ago i'm getting rid of mine for the tp2 to see if it does the same over heating and stop charging like tp1 does. if it does its going back to the store and i'm going to treo. I had well still have a treo 800w and it never stops charging and i can run sprint nav for 5 hours straight and never have a problem. I replaced it for tp1 because I had a mogul before the treo 800w and I liked it just didn't like the lack of memory. tp1 is a good phone just has charging issues and overheating issues. hoping tp2 will change it if not going back to treo 800w.

The more I learn about the TP2 the more I don't wanna upgrade, especially since the latest Verizon Radio has given me the best signals I've ever had with Sprint.

Main reason for me IS the bigger screen...I travel a bunch, and I like to watch movies on my TP...The way I see it (IMHO) the bigger screen will only enhance my trips! (not to mention better views of WeatherPanel )

Also...just that fact that the TP2 has a better speakerphone, does that mean that they made some changes to the internals? (I will also use this feature a lot at work)
