Re: getting rid of TP1 with TP2 comes
the TP2 is going to bomb. bigger/higher res screen and the same internals = crappier performance. plus, word on the street is, you won't be able to get the TP2 on a SERO plan.....

Re: getting rid of TP1 with TP2 comes
Where does this word on the street you've heard come from? I've been talking to many of my former coworkers at sprint (corporate not 3rd party) and they haven't heard of any restrictions being put on the phone like the instinct or pre have.

I think your just gonna have to give him a pardon on this one. He must not be talking about the same phone that we are.

Re: getting rid of TP1 with TP2 comes
Most of these have already been previously mentioned but...
-Higher resolution, larger display -Improved screen touch response (according to reviews... we'll have to see) -Larger, offset key keyboard that is one of the best on a phone (again, according to reviews) -Official TF3D2 so it should (hopefully) be more stable than the current VGA ports for the TP1 --Includes landscape TF3D, much better calendar, TF3D screen customizations, more settings, etc. -Better speakerphone and noise cancellation than the TP1 -TBD but it looks like the CDMA version of this phone will have a 3.5 audio jack -Better performance than TP1, xperia X1, omia i900 (but not as good as the new omnia II) Downsides... -No flash -A lot of things to be determined yet... the biggest is real world performance, batter life, overheating, etc. Last edited by apinkel; 08-09-2009 at 09:59 AM. |

Re: getting rid of TP1 with TP2 comes
The Mogul is closer in size to the TP1, NT THE TP2. SAME SIZE SCREEN AS TP1. THE BASIC PHONE IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE TP1. WHERE DO YOU GET THE MOGUL BEING CLOSE TO THE SIZE OF THE BRICK TP2?

The post I was responding to said they would like to have their mogul if it the storage of the TP1. I said I don't think I would ever make that statement.
