Re: How's the browser?

I would love to hear how Iris Browser performs on the Touch Pro II. I need to go an play with one in a Tmobile store. The Pre has a smaller screen but the browsing experience is AMAZING!

Re: How's the browser?

I use iris as my primary browser on my Sprint Touch Diamond, it's a great browser - scrolls very smooth and renders beautifully. No flash, though.

Re: How's the browser?

I also feel its unfair to compare the iPhone to any winmo phone. It has a capacative screen, which we all know to be better for certain things. We cant compare apples to oranges people.

And for the browsing questions, how is Htc at fault? They're simply manufacturing these phones. Who knows how long apple has been working on their browser, which is specific to the iphone and the iphone alone. IE and Opera and all of the other browsers, are trying to support as many devixes as possible, with many screen sizes and resolutions, so its no wonder theyd fall short at some points. If web browsings your biggest thing, then go grab an iphone or a pre. But the ability to multitask the way wm does, Ill stick with it. As far as testing Iris, test it on a Tp, the hardwares the same so it should run very similar.

Sorry for the bad grammar, typed on my Tp during lunch break
